My mother insisted each room must have a desk (#mothersknowbest) - and when appointing #gardenoferdem we thought through all of a future guest’s needs. In these days of #wfh a desk has never been more necessary. @theceh made this custom desk for us (for sale after #KBD) with a touch latch drawer. While some may love a bare desktop - I love for mine to be carefully curated with favorite finds - seen here @iatestastudio lamp from @hewnsf, totroise and wooden boxes from @nickbro...ckantiques, fanciful pencils from @caitlinwilsondesign, stunning flower arrangement from @avantgardenbytodd, waste basket from @antheminteriors and our custom chair - upholstery by @mmupholstery4 fabric from @soanebritain tassels & trim from @samuelandsons and finally a modern piece of art to juxtapose the @degournay wallpaper - a beautiful @saragenn sources by my wonderful art advisor @ryancampbellgarrett @stephen_karlisch_photo See more

We are so excited to share our #GardenofErdem with y’all!!This gracious guest bedroom was conceived as a mini-retreat for overnight visitors to escape their daily surroundings and be indulged with classic, elegant luxury. We are incredibly honored to have worked with so many wonderful partners in this room we couldn’t have done it without them! Sweet corner in our #gardenoferdem #kipsbaydallas #guestbedroom - none of this would have been possible without our amazing/talented vendors - but also without my amazing/ talented team. So proud of @emkate.jones for deciding the room needed a bookcase and bringing this beautiful casepiece to life - from the detailed CAD drawings to the #blueandwhite striped @farrowandball wallpaper inside - I know we all agree - she killed it! And @nicolemignon has been on the ground in Dall...as since Labor Day tracking down missing wallpaper (no thanks to @DHL) , sourcing the antique plates we used to accessorize the bookcase, and managing/ organizing all our vendors. Green with Ivy - a snapshot of our bathroom for #kipsbaydallas - a sneak peek of our custom vanity designed in collaboration with @theceh - Handmade and in Dallas - couldn’t love working with this husband / wife duo more! #dreamteam The trellis front - a forever favorite design detail, from #lemondroplullaby - weaves in the concept of bringing the outdoor in - the concept that brought to life the Ivy wallpaper - a new design in collaboration with @degournay. The sconces - a classic from @urbanelectricco are topped with a custom shade (fabric sourced from @soanebritain and #greekkey trim from @samuelandsons). The mirror - an antique sourced today! If you are depressed (like all Northern Californians were this past Wednesday) you put some bright yellow and suddenly you are happy - Philippe Starck Feeling very happy seeing photos of our @degournay wallpaper making its way around our #gardenoferdem bedroom for @kbshowhouse

#devilinthedetails or in this case #designinthedetails - every decision we made for #nodramallama was made intentionally. The sconces sourced from @coleenrider were custom colored to match the @newravenna #otomi tile (handout mosaic) - the little lamp shades - certainly not found off the shelf - rather custom made thanks to @paulferrante.inc. The fabric and trim sourced from @schumacher1889 and @samuelandsons (selected painstakingly to match the red of the sconces). The hand towels - @juliabhandmadeforlife - no coincidence that the scallop mimics the edge detail of our #custom mirror and of course - the red embroidery to tie in with the red pencil tile - every detail counts!
