Do some good and get some great reading material at the same time.

This chapbook is a benefit for the California Coalition for Women Prisoners and everyone donated their talents, thanks guys. Note, these stories speak to our current national experience in the USA and the chapbook is not an uplifting read, which is precisely why I wanted to publish it now. Our current state of affairs is extremely dangerous as the nation continues to... slouch towards actual, literal fascism. I expect to send it to the printer this weekend. That being the case, I am opening pre-order for this one now. ALSO! Pre-order for Dim Shores Presents Volume 2 starts today. I'll make a separate post about that but it is open now too.

Three years later and there is just one copy of the Deluxe Hardcover left. Looming Low Volume I was a true labor of love all the way around, and it wouldn't exist without Justin Steele, a savvy editor and good friend. Thank you man. It occurs to me I had said I'd think about doing Looming Low Volume II when Volume I sold out and well, looks like we are almost there. I better email Steeley.

It is your lucky day... Back in 2017, I started talking about my plans to publish a chapbook by Anna Tambour. CURSES was to contain "Vedma" as a centerpiece plus four or five other short stories. I kept pushing out the release date but for hoary reasons having nothing to do with Anna, I wasn't able to make it work and gave up. I highly encourage you to read "Vedma." You can do so for free at the link below, and if you like it, consider purchasing some of her work. Anna is a w...onderful writer and a fine person, and this is a very effective story. Anna also has a story in DIM SHORES PRESENTS VOLUME 1, available now. (If you are still on the fence, "Vedma" means "witch" in Russian. You know you want to read this.)

I am printing a second edition of Brooke Warra's Shirley Jackson Award-winning story Luminous Body. The color on the cover text is slightly different, and Brooke wrote a new acknowledgement, but the story is the same as ran in the original.
