According to the latest report from respected research firm Gartner, worldwide smartphone sales recorded the slowest growth since 2013, driven in part by a decline in smartphone sales for the first time in China. Android OS market share has dropped 1% to 82.2% vs Apple's iOS which has gained 2% to 14.6%. Though taking a 2% point shave in vendor marketshare, Samsung still leads the pack at 19.9% while Apple has gained 2% to 10.8% from a year ago.
