It was great to get some of the Dialect team back into the studio last week. Despite COVID-19 regulations, it was like we've never been away! We can't wait to see what this year brings when we can all be back together.

Stuck for ideas this Valentine's Day? Whether you're spending the day with your valentine or galentine or palentine, here are Maddie's suggestions for two-player games to get you in the co-op mood this weekend.

I've recently been playing Sackboy: A Big Adventure and I absolutely love it. What's not to love about a tiny sack person running around trying to save his tiny sack friends? It's even better in co-op mode, working together to save Craftworld, defeating enemies and collecting Dreamer Orbs along the way. It's the feel-good, heart-warming escapism we all need right now - some light-hearted entertainment from our mundane WFH schedule. In theory... Sadly, not even Sackboy's wh...olesome woollen exterior and funky, fresh costumes are enough to eradicate the tension that playing a game with my other half brings when things get difficult. My lack of gaming experience and poor hand-eye co-ordination, mixed with his competitive nature unfortunately mean 10-minute time outs and awkward silences over our morning coffee when things go sideways. Boss levels against the almighty Vex are a particular sticking point. But I'm sure you won't have this problem. Despite the co-op difficulties we face, Sackboy is so much fun to play. Each differently themed world brings new challenges, bouncy soundtracks and addictive Knitted Knight time trails. You should definitely give this game a go, I can guarantee it will bring some joy to an otherwise frankly miserable lockdown. Just don't take it too seriously, like us. See more

Meet Ash, Dialect's new Media Planner. Ash joins us from the events industry where he was a predominantly self-taught social and digital marketer, now working on multiple accounts at Dialect. Here are three random facts about Ash: 1. He's a black belt in Shotokan Karate and once 'fought' Darth Maul.... 2. He plays guitar in a progressive rock band that has toured Europe, and has created sound effects for games despite him being an entirely self-taught musician/producer. 3.
