Santa rode through town today following the Main Street Murals Gallery waving to folks on Route 66 & wishing good cheer to all men!

Head to down town Barstow to see Santa riding through town on his Main Street Mural Stagecoach. Santa is parked up at 613 E Main St - Hope on Route 66.

Great news... the US Dept of the Interior is extending the Every Kid Outdoors free pass to all federal parks, lands, and waters to all 4th and 5th graders this year. Santa will be driving through town Saturday 5th December on his Main Street Murals Stage Coach ride. Due to COVID restriction we will not be offering public tours, however if you want to get in the festive spirit & take a photo of Santa atop his Christmas stage coach, head to down town Barstow between 11am - 2pm. We would like to share with you a presentation with Clifford Walker, a retired teacher, historian with Mojave River Valley Museum, Old Spanish Trail Association founder & Author. Clifford is a beloved resident of Barstow & a person who has enriched the lives of many. Clifford celebrated his 90th Birthday in 2020. Congratulations Clifford & thank you for your service to our community!

Exploring traces of the Old Spanish Trail uncovers early explorers, Indian trails, animal trails, water trails & bicycle trails. Enjoy this Old Spanish Trail Aparejo Packing Demonstration, a fascinating living history presentation bringing the traders packing process to life. These hardy animals were the trucks of today and invaluable in opening up the trading route to the west.
