Happy 21st birthday to our Ambassador from St. Augustine, Florida @abelhaynes Abel is a surf instructor, surfer, A+ engineering student and on his way back to SoCal, to finish his last few semesters at PLNU. We are stoked on our extended family of surfers spanning coast to coast.

Future Degree 33 shredder! Jimmy @rorafilmco came down with his amazing little daughter to check out boards as he has not been happy with the board he has been riding. We had a great discussion about his journey with surfing starting on a longboard and progressing into shortboarding. After digging deeper we determined the 5'11" high performance shortboard he was riding did not have enough volume for him to catch waves consistently and easily. We decided on this hand shape...d 6'4" All Terrain Vehicle to allow him more paddle power and volume to catch the waves without compromising the performance he was looking for. We are pleased to report that Jimmy loves his new board...his friends are even telling him he looks like a totally different surfer. Yew Jimmy! Please welcome our newest ambassador Daniel Bocater! Originally from the island of Kauai, he now resides in Leucadia. He is a talented photographer, surf instructor and surfer and we are stoked to have him join our crew for 2021! nathanpetty

Our Easy Rider fish has quite popular this year because of it's versatility. For those that want a fish shape and ride but need a little more volume or for those progressing from a longboard there is several mid length options to choose from. Me make em in stock sizes of 6'6", 6'10", 7'6", 7'10" and 8'2" or if you have a size you want custom we can do that too!

What do you think of our new Degree 33 surfboard art? This one was made from a Degree 33 Codfather fish shape. The artist Jim Romo cut the fishbone design out using using an old board we had in the shop. After cutting the design with hand tools they hand painted the color on the board. Call if interested!

With the larger surf this week we have been pulling the high performance shortboards out of the rafters. We have been seeing some rare Orange (Good) conditions on Surfline and all of the breaks we love seem to be working overtime producing quality waves.
