Woot! Woot! The YMCA Stair Climb was held as a virtual event this year, but that wasn’t going to stop Davis Elen from climbing for the 10th year in a row. Our team kept strong and dedicated in order to help our Downtown LA community. Everybody hashtagged and published stories from their favorite hike spot and came together as one for a successful virtual climbing experience! It’s #NationalCoffeeDay. A time to take a moment and thank coffee for all it’s done for us. Thank you coffee. And what better way to celebrate than with the lowkey best coffee around. You can thank our partners McD’s McCafé for that.

It was incredible while it lasted. DE's Summer Fridays gave us time to disconnect, sleep in and embrace the outdoors. Others had an opportunity to "paint and change the carpet," adopt "a new pup named Timmy" or build furniture for a nursery like "shelves, swings, [and] a rocking chair" in anticipation of a new baby. A big thank you to the staff at DE for making this possible and to everyone for making great use of Summer Fridays. Goodbye, Summer!

We may have gotten a little over-excited when it came to #AmpersandDay. It’s the day that celebrates our--and Smart & Final’s-- favorite piece of punctuation! We celebrated on Smart & Final socials with posts that shouted out some of our favorite snacks including nachos, trail mix, and popcorn. Oh, and we didn’t forget pets, because as the ampersand knows, everything's better when you've got a buddy.

DE went virtual for our summer party this year and we know you're thinking: "What does that even mean?" But we’re here to tell you, it meant a whole lot of laughs.
