The patient is a 67 year old woman who didn’t like the fullness of her neck and felt that her face and neck had no separation. This patient had upper eyelid surgery with a face lift. Excess skin was removed from her upper eyelids and a small amount of fat was also removed from the inner part of the upper eyelid area. The was very pleased with her new look after surgery. When fat is removed from the upper lid, care must be taken not to remove too much because this can lead to a skeletonized, unnatural appearance.
