"Solar Transit Fade" (or "Sun Outage") Have your heard of it? Oct 2nd - 9th, 2013 (now) is when this could occur ... [You have been warned] ... It's when the signal from a specific satellite in orbit is directly in line with the Sun's rays (i.e. Radiation). Many Video Signals/TV use these satellites to distribute TV programming. Each year during February/March and September/October, Solar Interference causes the degradation or loss of satellite signals for short periods of time, up to 15 minutes each day, for 5-7 days. ... And there ain't nuthin' (reasonable) you can do about it!
