#FLASHBACKFRIDAY Nervous, scared, and wanting to just forget it were all thoughts going on in my head. Up until the point in this photo, I had just been giddily planning and teaching in my garage. NO ONE knows how nervous I was on lease signing day. Here I was with a plan, but no real GUARANTEE that anyone would ACTUALLY show up. I got the keys and it hit me.. this is REAL. Nervous as I was, I was excited to make this dream become a reality; and to my surprise, by the first w...eek I had 36 students enrolled. I wish I could go back and tell this girl that success WILL come with hard work and trusting in God’s plan. I look back and am thankful for the first season of classes, and although this is how I am looking again most days these days , I know that once the public has confidence to get back into activities, we’ll bounce back stronger than ever. Our mission statement is: To Create A Community Of Dancers And Their Families.. COMMUNITY is so important, and something human nature simply needs. I get butterflies when I see classmates scheduling play dates and moms talking and laughing together. These last few months have NOT been easy, but knowing the studio is a space where relationships are forming and a community is building, is what keeps me looking up for strength to stay open.
