We're looking for a behavioral health trainee to work with multi-ethnic clientele between the ages of 12 and 24 years in a supportive team environment. Clients have a variety of issues and risk factors, including depression, suicidality, physical and sexual abuse, substance abuse, truancy, trauma, family, and self-esteem issues. Interns work with a multi-disciplinary team of medical, social service, and education professionals in addressing the needs of the clientele. Intern opportunities for facilitating group include various focuses. They may include an LGBTQ support group and various counseling groups with students at a high school. Please like and share. Attention San Mateo youth (12-24 yo)! Join us for weekly discussions and support network where you can meet other LGBTQ+ peers in a safe and affirming environment.
