Find out how to play safe in our parks by taking this quick and easy survey!! The Department of Aging, in partnership with BellAge, Inc. has launched CV19 CheckUp in Los Angeles. Find out how likely you are to get or spread COVID-19, how severe it might be if you get sick, steps to reduce your risks, and ways to have your needs met during the pandemic. CV19 CheckUp, an online system developed to help Los Angeles residents be safer, healthier, and ensure their individual nee...ds are met during the pandemic. CV19 CheckUp asks users to complete an easy, quick, confidential questionnaire. A personalized report is immediately provided, outlining the user’s level of risk and offering recommendations and resources to reduce those risks. CV19 CheckUp employs artificial intelligence and data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are excited to partner with CV19 CheckUp and help spread the word about this powerful tool. Take it yourself and share with your family, friends, and community: https://losangeles.cv19checkup.org.

Friendly reminder from City staff: During these times, we have many community members using our City parks and maintaining safe and clean green space is essential for all. We’d like to remind everyone that while in our City parks, dogs are not allowed off leash and should stay on designated pooch paths. If you’d like a leash-free experience, please visit the Boneyard Dog Park. Please help us by not choosing to allow your pet to roam free. City staff would prefer not to cite violators!

It’s here! Culver City’s annual tree lighting celebration, streaming from California’s Heart of Screenland right to your home. Thursday, December 10 at 6pm PST, on https://www.downtownculvercity.com/ While there won’t be anything happening in Town Plaza on December 10th, we are excited for this opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate this annual tradition and bring light and joy into our homes. Gather the family, make some hot chocolate, and share holida...y greetings with your neighbors on our live chat as you watch the Tree Lighting online this year. Enjoy performances from Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, a specially created world-premiere dance film by Invertigo Dance Theatre, and VOX Femina vocalist Lesili Beard as well as appearances by Culver City Council members and our special guest, Academy Award-winner Tim Robbins, Artistic Director of the Actors' Gang Theatre. Count down with the Mayor as he flips the switch and lights the beautiful 22-foot Rocky Mountain pine tree with over 7500 warm-white LED lights. Downtown Business Association President Darrel Menthe will host and, of course, Santa Claus will be there, and he’ll be telling everyone how you can visit him - online, of course! It is 2020 after all! The 2020 Annual Downtown Culver City Tree Lighting Celebration is presented by Amazon Studios with support from The Culver Studios, Stoelt Productions and Culver City - Local Government and is produced by the Downtown Culver City Business Association!
