Tomorrow is Halloween, but English 479K students have been in a spooky spirit ever since the start of fall semester. Twice a week, they sign on and meet with Edgar Allan Poe. Well, CSULB Assistant Professor Rene Treviño dressed up as Poe, to be exact. During a recent study, CSULB Assistant Professor of Psychology Dr. Olajide Bamishigbin and a team of researchers found that fathers parenting their infants right after they are born were less likely to be depressed a year later. When there was a new need for face coverings to help fight COVID-19, CSULB fashion design students started creating and producing masks for their friends, family and even social media followers. My partner and I needed something to protect ourselves when we were out running errands, Sean Castro said.
