Join NAFSA for a virtual panel discussion Tuesday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT) to review the results of the new report, Developing a Globally Competitive Workforce Through Study Abroad, and discuss the important connection between study abroad experience and employer-desired skills. This report builds on previous studies in skills development and study abroad and affirms that U.S. students acquire and develop skills during their study abroad experiences that are essential for management and leadership positions. Ewha Online International Winter College (EIWC), a new winter program that will be launched in January of 2021. The EIWC is a 3 week online program featuring two tracks, the SPECIAL track and the GENERAL track. The EIWC SPECIAL Track is a customized introductory program to Korean Studies and is worth 3 credits. Students will get to take real-time Korean Language classes and pre-recorded special lectures on Korean culture and society. The EIWC GENERAL Track offers a selection ...of credit-bearing courses taught by renowned Ewha faculty. Students will be able to learn about various subjects and meet new friends from around the world without the hassle of international travel. Each course consists of pre-recorded lectures and real-time sessions; upon completion students will earn 3 credits per course. From September 2021, there will be two programs at the CJS. The existing program will be renamed the Intensive Japanese Program (IJP). It will continue to focus on helping you improve your Japanese and your knowledge of Japan. The only change to the IJP is that you will have more seminar and arts courses to choose from.... The new program is called the Modern Japan Program (MJP). It explores contemporary Japanese culture and society in an English-medium Program, and develops your foundational Japanese language skills.
