Introducing our second panelist for our Songwriting Workshop: Meet Julian McClanahan! Julian is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Mendocino, California. Playing strings and songwriting has led him to collaborate and tour the world with bands, artists, and ensembles of all kinds.... In 2014, Julian moved to Los Angeles to attend the USC Popular Music program. Playing violin and songwriting around LA led Julian to collaborate with local friends like Remi Wolf, Rostam, Haim, and Wallows. During 2017-2019 Julian toured the ‘Half Light’ album with Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend. In recent years Julian has played venues such as Lincoln Center, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Greek with artists such as HAIM, Rostam, Whitney, the Jonas Brothers, Clairo, Remi Wolf, Wallows, Joy Again, and Lucius. Born in Colombia and raised in Switzerland, Juan Cerro is creating his own path as a successful artist, Songwriter, and Producer. After moving to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, he decided to pursue his path as a Record Producer and Songwriter in Miami. Jumping both feet into the deep water and taking his chance at a career path in music, Juan has not looked back. He has been fortuna...te to work with and catch the attention and respect of artists and producers including Dayanara, Visitante, Nikki Mackliff, Mila Egred, Monsieur Perine, Mike & Pana, and many more. Juan Cerro has produced, written, and engineered records that have reached almost 1 Million streams worldwide, as well as over 1 million views on YouTube.
