Did you look at your box’s program this morning before deciding if you wanted to get out of bed or not? If so, what goes through your mind? 1. The work out seems too difficult. 2. My least favorite movement. 3. Snatches? They are not applicable to my life. 4. I don’t have the right outfit for this workout.... 5. Running?! It’s too cold outside! 6. Yesterday’s sugar binge will not work in my favor. 7. I know for a fact I won’t win this one. 8. My workout buddy is out of town. 9. The coach is going to hold me to a higher standard. Um no thanks! 10. I’m not in the mood. There’s always tomorrow. Marissa is practicing staying seated back and upright in her squat. Shown here we used the wall as a prop to keep her on target as she gets some repetitions done. The body needs to know where to go in order to know where to go, if the verbal cues don’t work we move on to a physical one in this case. We’ll visit this again in a couple of weeks without the wall. We treated ourselves to a beautiful 4-mile hike in the hills of San Juan Capistrano this morning.
