At CrossFit Temecula we believe that our gym is more than equipment, classes, and people trying to get fit. It’s a community, it’s a home, it’s a place where you come to learn perseverance, where you learn to be brave and where you leave with a family. Missy, you are awesome. Thank you so much for working with me! I have kept this kindness card since January. (Isn’t that weird?? Haha.) Even though I knew what I was doing I didn’t feel like I knew how to convey it. This kindness card made me really feel that I was coaching effectively and most importantly, that my athletes knew that I cared. CFT OPEN AIR EDITION! Hey CFT-ers! If you’ve been following the news today you’ve probably caught the part where all indoor activities are being shut down. And if you’re like us you went, nooooooooo we just got CFT back! ... Have no fear we had a moment! We’re moving everything outdoors! It’ll be the same WODs, coaching and group classes you love just in our parking lot! Please reserve your spot via the Mind Body app as class sizes will still be limited and we will still be practicing social distancing (stay in your square- if you know you know). Also please consider parking along the street or the front parking lot as the back half has now become our gym! Ps! You just have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. That’s the only way you are going to get stronger. These words, spoken to me at my first CrossFit Temecula class by Nick way back in 2011, were not only critical to my health and fitness, but also have shaped who I am and how I approach almost everything in my life. So, when Camille and Isaac asked me to consider bringing my skill sets to the CFT team by becoming a partner, I didn’t even hesitate!! What you will learn ...about me is I want to learn, grow, and be better so I can make a positive difference in the world. I believe we were all created to play an important role in the epic story of life. If we are to do that to the best of our ability, we must be fit and strong with the confidence that comes from doing hard things. Camille and Isaac (building on what Nick started) have created that kind of environment. I can’t wait to bring my full self to the table in order to help maintain the amazing community of CrossFit Temecula. A big part of the culture in CFT is that we honor our heroes through WODS. This July 4th we are honoring the Granite Mountain Hotshots Firefighting team who tragically lost their lives on June 30, 2013 while fighting, a fire in Yarnell, Arizona.
