Novena for the Poor Souls Starts Today! ~ ALL SOULS NOVENA: Oct. 24th through November 1st! ~ Many Catholics pray this Novena for their deceased ...loved ones and for all those in Purgatory. Pray once a day, starting on October 24 and finishing the last day on November 1, the Feast of All Saints (which is also a holy day of obligation). The following day, November 2, is All Souls' Day. If at all possible, attend Holy Mass on this day, too, or have Masses offered in November, because it is the month in which the universal Church remembers the Poor Souls in Purgatory. ~~NOVENA PRAYER FOR 9 DAYS~~ O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant unto the souls of Thy departed servants full remission of all their sins, that through the help of our pious supplications they may obtain that pardon they have always desired, Thou who livest and reignest world without end. We'd like to recognize our talented volunteers behind the scenes: Alexandra Duvnjak and John Herceg for continuing to bless us with traditional Croatian hymns, Sime Baskovic for helping with our livestreams, and Vlasta Lebo for keeping us safe and socially distanced so that we may continue to safely worship together at our little church on the hill.
