Cozy Plum is hiring! We’re looking for a Kitchen Team Member with a cool head with positive attitude. Things get really busy at lunch and dinner. Good knife skills, fast prepper, function well in tight quarters. Don’t burn things, work swift, orderly and always be cleaning. We’re new and learning and growing, really fast. Position may turn to full-time pretty quickly. $15.20 + tips. Staff tips are averaging $4-5 per staff member per hour. p.s. if you’ve no experience but a love for vegan cooking, we encourage you to pursue this position... we will train the right person

This is Dezi. She works Front of House at Cozy Plum. She is super kind, efficient, and cool under pressure. On our busiest nights, and we get crazy here, she gets it done. Wonderful with customers and incredibly genuine. We’re proud to have her on our team. Dezi is Cozy Plums Spotlight Employee [Hi Cozy Plu...m fam, my name is Dezi R. I’m a senior attending High School in Sonoma County. I am an activist, artist and a singer. Over the summer I organized three Black Lives Matter events in my hometown with the help of my team, the BLMVISIBILITYTEAM, and youth from within my community. One of the biggest events I planned was the painting of Black Lives Matter in my town square. We had the community come out and put their hand prints all around the letters and created something so special and important within the town of Sebastopol. I’ve been working at Cozy Plum since November and feel so lucky to be here! I’ve been vegan my entire 18 years of life (for the love of my animal friends) and so when I heard Cozy Plum was hiring I had to jump at the opportunity. Working at Cozy Plum has been one of the greatest experiences... there is so much love and support and it makes me so excited to come into work. In the future I am planning on attending medical school and hopefully going to an HBCU! Ps. My favorite meal from Cozy Plum is crispy tenders wrap. I Highly recommend]

In 1976, at St. Helena Elementary School, my 1st grade teacher was Mr. Chuck Dake. To this day, he remains my favorite educator. Chuck became a realtor and is a well-known and well-respected resident of the area. Recently, his name was mentioned in a social media post which described heroic residents being of service in the most recent fires. Quite a good man. One thing I remember most fondly from his class was a reward he would give us kids for outstanding behavior... SUNSH...INE TICKETS! There wasn’t a 6-year old who didn’t want one. I remember my name written across the gold banner, my mother collecting them and hanging them on the fridge, and as an only-child, how they boosted my morale and participation. They made us all proud in a very healthy way. Cozy Plum wants to revive the Sunshine Ticket. On Wednesdays at Cozy Plum, as many of you know, Teachers Eat Free. Now, let’s do even better. Every teacher who comes in on Wednesdays, between 4-8pm, will receive a free meal and 5 Sunshine Tickets to pass along to deserving students. Those students will then be able to eat free! On Saturday last, during our live music event, we poured more wine in an evening than we usually do in a whole weekend. People sat, melted into their chairs, and stayed a while. To a restaurateur, thats its own kind of beautiful music. As things slowly move towards some kind of normal over the next several months (we hope) we will bring in more labels and develop an impressive wine list. A rapid learner, Malia dove in to this fast-paced kitchen with no professional experience and rose to the occasion like a Wonder Woman. She stays late, comes in on her days off, and works harder and more efficiently every day she’s here. She is calm, and spiritual, warm and caring, and epitomizes what Cozy Plum wants in its employees... a selfless, empathetic nature and an enlightened level ...of hospitality. A wonderful turn-out last night for our Saturday Music event with Daniel Reiter Urquhart. We had a full house most of the evening, reservations helped make things run very smoothly, and since our opening, it was our best day yet. So many smiles last night... it was really awesome. Because of a well-staffed kitchen I actually got to wander about and say hello to folks, mingle and enjoy this event from a different perspective. It was a welcome change.
