A Reading for One Weekend Only! April 23 - April 25 Directed by Mary L. Smith This wonderfully witty show tells an intimate collection of life stories of women through the lens of their clothes covering all the important subjectsâmothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why they only wear black. It uses women's connection with clothing and accessories, and the memories they trigger, to tell funny and poignant stories that all women can relate to. Season tickets go on sale later this month!

Constellations is a spellbinding and romantic exploration at how the tiniest change in the details of our lives can dramatically alter the lives we live and lead us on completely different paths. Your sneak peek at our upcoming 75th Anniversary season in 2021 continues Djanet Sears’ HARLEM DUET March 19 - April 18 Directed by Kandace Crystal... Set in contemporary Harlem, in what could be a prelude to Shakespeare’s Othello, Djanet Sear's Harlem Duet recounts the story of Othello and his first wife, Billie (before Desdemona). Their history is told through the lives of three couples during eras of special significance in the Black American Experience, the 1860s, 1928 and the present. Harlem Duet received Canada's highest literary honor for dramatic writing, the Governor General's Literary Award, in 1998. Season tickets go on sale later this month!
