I’m back! As of January 13 I will be back in the salon with my brand new schedule! Over the shut down, my husband, and I picked up our little family and moved to beautiful Rocklin, CA so I can be closer to the salon and be more available to my clients and our business. With this new year and new stage of life comes change.... For one, PRICING. Pricing is available in my highlights section. All prices listed are STARTING prices and are subject to change based on: time required and product used. And then my favorite! POLICIES + BOOKING. All policies are listed on my website (Link in Bio). These policies are in place for a reason. Policies MUST be reviewed before booking an appointment, and by booking the appointment you acknowledge that you have read them. In addition to this, ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CARD ON FILE. Clients are required to book appointments through my booking system where they will be prompted to input and save a card. I will not accept the appointment if the card is not provided and saved. I don’t come along enforcing all these rules to be a tight ass, I just have a business to run. I love each and every one of my clients and sometimes the lines get blurred because I love hard. These policies are not synonymous with my heart and I hope that everyone can understand. I’M SO FUCKING PUMPED TO GET BACK FO WORK. When people ask about our wedding I often say the theme was Mac Dre & Chick Fil A and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. We had such an interesting crowd. Leaving 2020 like... This year was NUTS. For me, like everybody else, a lot of bad happened, but a lot of the most amazing things ever happened this year too. So for that, I can’t even be mad about it. It’s easy to get sucked into the negative, trust me, I spent a lot of time in it this year. But the more that we wallow in all the bad, we just rob ourselves of joy. Going into 2021 try to be thankful for all the good that 2020 gave us. Even if it’s as small as one time back in... 6 years ago today was my very first day as a professional hairstylist. I was scared as hell. Thankfully my dad was my first client, but when I opened my clipper box I saw there was no guards in it, so I had to go without which I had never done before. And then I had brand new clients who always freaking ask so how long have you been doing hair? And I lied and said a few years because I didn’t want them to be freaking out as much as I was.... Basically, my first day should have been sponsored by Secret Medical Strength deodorant. For the next couple of years I swore by fake it til you make it. I would get thrown curveball after curveball and just say well, here goes nothin’. It was hard. I wanted to quit a lot. But 6 years, countless mistakes, a little bit of heart break, and a lot a bit of learning later, I’m not longer faking it. I put in a lot of work to get where I am and I LOVE to learn new things! I’m so grateful for all the people who let me practice on them, especially the ones who had no idea I was practicing. And I’m even more grateful to have finally found a deodorant that I don’t have to constantly have to reapply. Bless. I haven’t really had much to say since we shut down. It’s the same story you guys have heard for almost a year now and it’s shitty. I may not be able to be there for you all behind the chair, but if you’re struggling with any of this, or if you just need to talk I am still here for you as a friend. We may feel a bit of a divide through this whole process but in the end, we’re all going through it. We may be experiencing it differently, we may have way different emotions or pe...rspectives but that is never going to stop me from showing love and support for my community and those around me. I think we could all do a better job at spreading kindness, including myself. When you’re thinking about all the shopping you need to do, Here’s a list of things that cost $0 but are absolutely priceless to those around you. Check in on your loved ones, even if it’s just a simple text.... Give a stranger a compliment. Put your phone down and spend quality time with your people. Help someone before they ask. Tell at least one person a day that you’re grateful for them. Leave a positive review for your favorite small businesses. Encourage your peers. Smile, we might not be able to see your mouth, but we can see it in your eyes. We are surrounded by so much negativity right now. I see so much hate and judgment every day and it breaks my heart.
