Many thanks to all the volunteers from the Delta Dental Insurance Company for doing virtual mock interviews with our students from the Computer Technologies ProgramEvents like these are a great benefit to our student's professional development as they prepare for future employment.
Had the great pleasure of virtually hosting a couple of interns from the Achieve Program. This is their final week of internship and they will be missed! Thank you Jaymar and Alazar for all the work you did for the Computer Technologies Program. Best of luck to you both!
Special thanks to City National Bank for awarding the Computer Technologies Program with a COVID-19 Relief Effort grant. This will further enhance CTP’s ability to support people with disabilities by providing them remote technical workforce development services during these challenging times.

We’d like to extend a special thanks to City National Bank for their support of our Economic Development program. CTP helps to bridge the economic divide for people with disabilities in the Bay Area. Your financial contribution is the most powerful way that you can help right now today.
Special thanks to City of Berkeley employees Nathan Dahl and Ken Plante for taking the time to conduct mock interviews with students from the Computer Technologies Program (CTP). Great time had by all!
Earlier this year I completed my classroom training in CTP’s Computer Technician Training (CTT) program. As part of my training, I had to work with a company for some time in order to get hands on work experience. My externship took place at Eden I&R, a local non-profit that helps connect people to community resources. [ 334 more words ] https://www.ctpberk.org/5173/my-ctp-externship-experience/
Special thanks to our summer robotics and business outreach intern Vanessa for doing such a great job during her time with us at the Computer Technologies Program. Today was her last day and she will be missed! Best of luck to her as she prepares to start her collegiate career at Lehigh University this August.
Google opened its doors to students and staff of the Computer Technologies Program on Friday, June 28 for an interviewing workshop at the data giant’s San Francisco offices. The workshop was the result of a collaboration between Google, CTP and fellow nonprofit HandsOn Bay Area. We try to make it easy for everyone to just come out and give and receive, said Ashia Brown, events specialist at HandsOn Bay Area.
