Join us in wishing sweet Mudge good luck today as he heads to UC Davis for a medical work-up on the huge mass he has on the left side of his face and neck. Mudge is an extraordinarily happy fellow who came to us from our friends at Tulare Animal Services as a medical transfer. We are hoping to get a plan in place for him to get that growth removed and are grateful to the UC Davis team for fitting him today and beginning his road to surgery and recovery. We will keep you posted on his progress and thank you for caring about this sweet boy as much as we do. Compassion Is the Answer.

We want to give a HUGE thank you to our volunteers who go above and beyond for our dogs by giving them some much needed playtime! There’s nothing we love more than seeing our darling dogs relish in the company of others and watch their personalities flourish in the sunlight. Those smiles say it all!

Here at CWOB, we adore mutts and breeds of all sizes but we wanted to share our current smallest dog and largest dog in our care! Vicente, a darling teacup Chihuahua mix weighs in at only a mere 4 lbs! Gru, a handsome pitty mix weighs in at a whopping 100 lbs! These two, though they vary drastically in size, are full of personality, heart, and lust for life. We absolutely adore them, and we know you will too! ... For inquiries about adopting Vicente or Gru, please email [email protected], or fill out the adoption application on our website, www.cwob.org!

UPDATE: Thanks to our amazing supporters who responded to our request for the Snuggle Safe Pet Beds for our feral cats. Please check the other items on our wishlist link below if you want to help our other animals while they wait to find their forever homes. Thank you! Today, we want to introduce Tigre, Puma and Amelia, our new permanent resident semi feral kittens under our care at CWOB! Our cats came from Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County which is a wonderful local org...anization that helps feral cats in the community with education, spay/neuter services, and barn cat programs. We love our cats and we are giving them a second chance with all the care and attention they deserve. In return, they provide an eco-friendly solution to keep the rodents and other unwelcome visitors away from our property and animals. It’s getting cold out there and we could use your help to keep our cats warm this winter. For our Wish List Wednesday we are requesting some Snuggle Safe Pet Beds listed in the link below: https://www.amazon.com///ls/3PRUX2DWKVK6M/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex Thank you for your continued support and welcome Tigre, Puma and Amelia to the CWOB family!

Meet Lucky! This darling little guy was found by one of our partner organizations in Mexico and arrived in our care last Friday. He has some funky back legs, a cough, and some liver issues, but his sweet demeanor is just as sweet as that underbite, and his spirit is as soft as his fur! He’s currently residing in foster with our incredible volunteer/foster coordinator, Sarah, and receiving love and medical care around the clock. We’re so grateful to give dogs like Lucky a second chance at the life they deserve. Compassion IS the Answer

This week, our new Meximutts are going through our intake process where they have their final round of exams, which include deworming, blood testing, microchipping along with lots of attention and love. They also perfectly pose for their adoption profile picture. But most importantly, this marks their final steps towards their new beginning. Stay tuned for adoption availability and more information!

*Safe* This beautiful boy is now in our care south of the border. Rescued with injuries to both his back legs, he is receiving medical attention and being stabilized at our clinic. Any ideas on names for this handsome and soulful survivor? Compassion is the Answer.
