Our Companion nurses are true superheroes in our every day lives; we take this moment to honor the hard work and compassion, that our nurses tirelessly give to our patients and their families. Over the course of 4 weeks, this 2-hour weekly workshop teaches participants how to express their journey of loss by celebrating the life of their loved one through acrylic paints on canvas, collage, and journaling using the Art4Healing Method. Each workshop is designed to promote emotional healing through creative expression. No previous art experience is necessary. 10am-12pm, the first four Saturdays of November, in Arcadia, CA. This workshop is presented in collaboration with Art4Healing, Companion Hospice, and the Southern California Hospice Foundation. Wow! During Military Appreciation Month, Companion Hospice's Pasadena location honored 104 senior veterans at two residential living communities and two skilled nursing communities. #veterans #WHV

We would like to take a moment this Memorial Day to remember all of those who served. We salute you.

In honor of Mother’s Day, we would like to share a video of one of our hospice patient: Marilyn was a mother of 3 beautiful children. They were all separated over the years, and her final wish was to reunite with her family before she passed. A big Thank You to Southern California Hospice Foundation for making Marilyn's final wish come true.
