Kahlilia Williams, Students Deserve: Question: What is your vision for the future? still being in activism, seeing more women of color in activism. Our generation is the most ethnically diverse in the midst of this revolution to call to defund the police and reimagine public safetybut for the future I want to see a continued growth of young women leading this movement. #womensrights2020 #CHCwwe2020 #womenswealth #womenwealthequity2020 #CHC #CommunityHealthCouncils

Community Health Councils 22.07.2020

Grace Song, Senior Policy Analyst - CHC, Question: What is an asset of your generational perspective? I really look up to a lot of people, my mentors, and respecting our elders and ancestors with their journey. But on a national stage, I am drawn to women of color such as Grace Lee Boggs and I see someone out there I can relate too, and Grace Lee is one of few. It creates a sense of cause to be fearless to call out people who are causing harm to others. #womensrights2020 #CHCwwe2020 #womenswealth #womenwealthequity2020 #CHC #CommunityHealthCouncils #wealth

Jasmine Guevara, We, Latinx have played such an enormous part of wealth creation but we don’t reap the benefits of this wealth, but we know this experience of wealth inequity. #womensrights2020 #CHCwwe2020 #womenswealth #womenwealthequity2020 #CHC #CommunityHealthCouncils #wealth

Community Health Councils 06.07.2020

Ann Price, President of the Insight Center: When women are positioned in the labor market...it impacts the ability of women of color to build wealth. Anti-blackness at the core may create solidarity because Black women are all being impacted by it. Yet, solutions going forward post COVID19 we must get it right. Solutions may leave out women of color and their experiences from the pandemic. #womensrights2020 #CHCwwe2020 #womenswealth #womenwealthequity2020 #CHC #CommunityHealthCouncils #weath #COVID19 #BIWOC

Community Health Councils 30.06.2020

Dr. Marla Parker, professor at Cal State University LA: Creating self-efficacy, lessons learned with how do I inspired BIPOC students? Identifying opportunities in the classroom, don’t shoulder this alone, be willing to take risks and create allyships...you will need people to buffer you and be a collaborator...offer help and create social capital and networks and alliances. We’ve grown from internally to externally such as including CHC and people in networks and bringing these resources onto the campus with examples of social entrepreneurs and we must refine concepts of success." #womensrights2020 #CHCwwe2020 #womenswealth #womenwealthequity2020 #CHC #CommunityHealthCouncils #CSULA
