We have been working hard to finish up our brand new unit in time for Cal Conclave! You won’t want to miss this event- November 10th at Swanton Pacific Ranch. Come check us out!

Cal Conclave will be hosted at Swanton Pacific Ranch this year! Save the date: November 10th! Here are some shots from the team this last weekend preparing for the competition. We are completely redconstructing the entire unit: falling trees, chopping wood, and using heavy machinery to grade and rebuild. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering the day of the competition (Nov. 10th)- a shirt and dinner will be provided!

Good afternoon logging fans, As you may know, we are hosting the 79th AWFC (Association of Western Forestry Clubs) Annual Conclave HERE AT CAL POLY!!!! The dates for this event are March 28-30th, 2018 from 7:30am to 6/7pm each day. The Collegiate Stihl Series will be on March 28th at 12:30pm.... We are looking for people who are interested in volunteering for a day or all days. Volunteers will get a Tshirt and lunch! If interested, send an email to Kyle at [email protected] or message us on Facebook. If you can't volunteer but are still excited to come and cheer on the team, shuttles will be provided from the parking lot on Mount Bishop Road which will be picking up on the Hour every Hour. ALL volunteers and spectators must be shuttled to the competition site due to limited space. We hope to see many of you out there for this awesome competition we have planned. -The Cal Poly Logging Team

T-Shirt design opportunity! Howdy everyone, If you haven’t heard already, we are hosting the LARGEST collegiate timbersports competition west of the Mississippi March 27th to the 30th!!! 10-15 schools will be attending with around 150 competitors! ... With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to reach out to our Facebook community and offer the chance to design the T-Shirt logo for this years Association of Western Forestry Clubs (AWFC) Conclave. So if you are a graphic design or art orientated person looking to win some awesome Cal Poly Logging team apparel and have your design showcased on the backs of all the Loggers then see below for guidelines. The design should contain: -79th AWFC Conclave -San Luis Obispo, CA -Logging industry theme (axes, chainsaws, trees, log trucks, bulldozers etc.) -maybe a fun phrase -get creativity and have fun with it If you have any more questions about it, feel free to message us. Can’t wait to see some cool designs!

The Cal Poly Logging Team is looking for more volunteers for our upcoming Cal Conclave! If anyone out there is free November 4th and is looking for free food, shirts, and some fun in the sun, just let us know!
