Here are some thoughts on how the COVID-19 pandemic WILL NOT impact the college application process for juniors; What won’t change for juniors Juniors should find their best-fit colleges through research, and work to articulate their fit through expressive essays. Students who apply to a balanced list of colleges are more likely to get more good news than those who apply to only super-selective colleges.... Colleges will evaluate grades from 9th, 10th and 11th grades. They’ll look for an upward trend, focusing more on courses with grades, as opposed to pass/fail. Strong letters of recommendation from teachers will be important. See more
