Nature Journaling Workshop - Level 1 Nature Journaling is collecting and organizing your observations, questions, connections, and explanations on the pages of a notebook using words pictures, and numbers. The process is creative, fun, and opens your eyes to wonder. It helps you discover, think, remember, and use new information, and integrate it with old. The skills can be learned by anyone and develop with deliberate practice. Keeping a journal of your observations, questio...ns, and reflections will enrich your experiences and develop observation, curiosity, gratitude, reverence, memory, and the skills of a naturalist. Train your mind and the world will offer its secrets of wonder and beauty. You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to begin. These are skills you will develop as you go. This FREE workshop is for educators who teach or lead in the content areas of science or the arts. This particular session is designed for those who are new to nature journaling. You don't need prior knowledge of drawing skills or science concepts. You just need to have a set of color pencils, unlined notebook, and desire to learn. There are two 2-hour sessions for this workshop, Thursday, Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 at 3:15-5:15 PM. Please note that by registering for this workshop, you are committing to attend both sessions. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nature-journaling-workshop-lev
