Shout out to our own AMT2 Jaime Marrero for receiving the Oliver Berry award! He’ll be presented the award later this month. Congratulations AMT2!
Good morning from #Sacramento! This shot of one of our planes along the #Oregon coast was recently sent to us by a fan. We always love seeing pics of our aircraft in action throughout U.S. Coast Guard Pacific Northwest and U.S. Coast Guard Pacific Southwest!
It's transfer season across the U.S. Coast Guard and here in #sacramento your Air Station is hard at work keeping the planes flying up and down the #westcoast and across the Pacific Area. Every job is vitally important to remaining #semperparatus!
Today we recognize members of the Air Station Sacramento team who have remained #semperparatus during the turmoil our world has experienced over the past few months! We recently promoted, advanced, and reenlisted a few of our own who have demonstrated excellence while #guardingthecoast throughout the Pacific Southwest and Pacific Northwest. Outstanding representatives of the U.S. Coast Guard all, congrats!
Recently Air Station Sacramento supported our Pacific Area shipmates from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star by transporting them to Seattle following their return from Antarctica! Always great to help reunite families after a long separation. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy out there! Photo by Petty Officer Jessika Garay.
We’re still guarding the coast here in Sacramento! Hope all of you out there are staying safe and sane.
Last month a crew from Air Station Sacramento took an HC-27J down south of the border to participate in a joint training exercise with other U.S. Coast Guard assets and allies from Mexico and Canada. #guardingthecoast in the Pacific Area is truly a team effort!
Shipmates, friends and family of air station Sacramento, we wanted to ensure everyone has the most up to date info and guidance from the coast guard on COVID-19 so here is the link to the official USCG page: (this link is for information sharing only; please do not address questions directly to this Facebook page, as we will simply refer you to medical professionals or your chain of command for answers. Thanks!) https://www.uscg.mil/coronavirus/
Today Air Station Sacramento celebrated 20 years of service to the U.S. Coast Guard and marked the retirement of AETC Fox! Congrats to Chief Fox and his family as they head into the next adventure!
Training this week with our shipmates on the USCGC PIKE!
