Our latest news Hello Family! You might have heard that we are raising funds in a peer-to-peer platform to help unbanked communities in rural areas gain access to resources. This mission is central to our Herbal Allies programs because we envision a financially inclusive world where all people hold the power to improve their lives. We are encouraged by the support our efforts have already received, but we still need your assistance reaching our goals for 2021...... Making a bigger impact... The frequency of love has a new antenna in Sacramento with an unlimited range from our hearts to yours!!! We would like to announce the official voice of our Herbal Allies philanthropic movements, M.E.D.S. Radio! The journey begins with our Afro House dance party tomorrow, Friday 2/26 @ 7:00-11:00 pm PST. We will feature some of the hottest dance music from African artists like Black Coffee, The Scorpion Kings, Bucie, Sketchy Bongo, Shekhinah, and more. Come groove with us and let us know you're listening with a tag on social media! In addition to the funky music, you will hear discussions on health, education, consciousness, and gain insights from our journeys abroad. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we have launched a fundraising team to organize our global altruistic programs. All donations are tax deductible and all funds go directly to the borrowers. We picked Gen Mai Cha as our tea of the month for December because it feels like a soul snack in a cup It's perfect for cold mornings that start slow or for sipping on as you dash to and fro on these short winter days. On its own it's a toasty and nutty savory green tea due to the toasted brown rice. When elevated with a small spoonful of honey or maple syrup it becomes an indulgent treat without feeling too sweet. Real talk - what fills up your cup? What helps you recharge your batteries? Refill the tank? However you describe it - what replenishes YOU? For me, I cherish my time alone with my thoughts and being physical. A hike, working with my hands for a while, or a bike ride followed by a cup of tea will ease almost any troubles I've got going on

DON'T PANIC We know tonight (and tomorrow, and the next day, like the rest of 2020) is going to be a tough one so here's some grounding techniques for when you feel like you're panicking. (First step is to put on some water for tea this relaxation practice will only take the as long as it takes water to boil and you'll have some tea waiting for you when you finish!)... -Sensory Grounding Method- Observe the world around you and evoke each of your senses. 5 Find 5 things that you can hear right now. Try to relax and focus on things you might normally tune out. What are 4 things you can see from where you are now? 3 Look for 3 things you could touch and focus on the sensation. Try to find 2 things you can smell in your present place. The product in your hair or your tea steeping. Find 1 thing you can taste.
