Share the Love Almost 6 years ago Simply O was just a dream. I had always wanted to create something that benefited people by spreading health and happiness. The idea of opening my own juice bar with a new concept from the ground up, on my own, seemed so risky. Would people like it? Will the community support me? So many unknowns. But I knew if I didn’t do it then that I would probably never do it and would always regret it. I’m so glad I didn’t give in to my fears.... The most rewarding aspects of creating the juice bar though, are the ones that I hadn’t even conceived. Being a part of the community, the genuine relationships I’ve developed, the opportunity to give back, my employees turned family...I could go on and on. I love this shop. I love my employees. I love what Simply O represents and the people I’m able to help. During this coronavirus pandemic I’ve encountered my greatest challenge and daily I’ve questioned whether or not to stay open or close my doors. I’m committed to giving everything I have to staying open. No matter what happens I appreciate all the support and love I’ve received and it will never be forgotten. Many people have asked me how they can help. If you would like to help right now, all I ask is that you share this post. Help me create awareness that we are still open. The longer I stay open the longer I’m able to provide free juice to anyone fighting cancer or other serious illness (Thank you Ava Mae Foundation for opening that door). Say hello to our three cadets participating in the job shadowing program from the Sunburst Youth Academy. @iamsunburst These students will be with us learning job skills for the next few weeks. The Sunburst Youth ChalleNGe Program, @iamsunburst located in Los Alamitos, is a Community High School, run by the California National Guard in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education. The Academy is a 5 1/2 month long residential military style academy structured... to promote an academic environment where they will earn 65 High School credits, develop leadership, job skills, and academic skills, while improving self esteem, pride, and confidence.
