Wiper Update: As you may remember, the City stocked 50,000 Wipers (Hybrid species between a White Bass and Striped Bass) in the Lake July 8, 2020. As we have had Wipers in the Lake 2005 - 2012, we felt confident that the fish would take well to our fishery. The photos below show the Wiper at stocking (approximately 1 1/4"), several months later (approximately 3+") and last weekend (approximately 6"). In speaking with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, they believe the growth could be up to 12" by next April! The Wiper "keeper length" is 18 inches. We are looking forward to a great fishing season in 2021!

During the Holy Flood events last year from the #HolyFire, Larson Road was washed out due to an ineffective, aged culvert that could not sustain the increased water flows.
