The City's Streets Division has removed all parking meters in the commercial corridor. The work had been delayed several weeks because of reduced crews due to COVID precautions and exacerbated by the City’s holiday lighting removal work. Parking that was previously metered throughout the City will now be free, but Coronado Police will continue to enforce the posted time limits on parking. Orange Avenue time limits are two hours. Violators will be issued citations. The Police will start writing warnings in mid-January and implement citations on Feb. 1.
