This year, the City of Bell is promoting the shared responsibility of the Bell community and staff to keep our city Clean and Beautiful. Some of the initiatives include major bulky item pick up events, widespread city service information publication, and now the City’s Student Art Contest. The Keep Bell Beautiful Student Art Contest submissions are meant to convey How the Community Can Help Lead Bell to a Better and Cleaner Environment. The selected winner will have a pho...to of their art on the City’s Spring 2021 Bell Guide, with the two runner ups receiving honorable mentions in the guide. The contest is open to all 6th through 12th grade Bell Students. Students will submit the electronic form located at www.cityofbell.org/art and then email photo of their artwork to Recreation Supervisor, Connie Hurtado, at [email protected]. The deadline to submit both the form and the photo is Monday, December 21, 2020. The artwork, with the theme in mind, will be evaluated by Community Services staff and the Top 3 will be selected and posted on the City’s Social Media platforms for the Community to Vote on.
