For your consideration.....

Sanctuary Amber Ale. This is one of our more unique creations. We wanted to make an Irish Red, but bring out more of the earthy English hop character that the I...rish Red found domestically lacks. We called this an Amber Ale simply because it is Amber in color and an ale. Sanctuary features a subtle coffee roast character, dry biscuit crisp finish, and East Kent Goldings used to bitter up to 30 IBUs. A small whirlpool charge brings out the earthy aromas the hop is known for. We used our house yeast, and kept fermentation temps low. A little bit of fusel alcohol rolls off the nose, then a caramel and nutty aroma comes in with an earthy hop finish. Growlers now available.
