THANKSGIVING TRIVIA The song Jingle Bells was originally called "One Horse Open Sleigh" and was written for a Thanksgiving sing along at a church service. The song was written by James Lord Pierpont and his nephew is J.P. Morgan. Yes, the J.P. Morgan. It was first performed at a Thanksgiving church service and was never intended to be a Christmas staple. The City of Corona launched the Parks & Recreation Facilities & Amenities Proje...ct to evaluate the existing conditions of all its park facilities. The Project will help the City determine how to best develop ongoing and preventative maintenance priorities, long-term capital improvements, and replacement needs. Take ownership of your parks by participating in the process! Join a community workshop on Thursday, October 15th at 5:30 p.m. to learn about the project and provide your ideas for improvements.
