We lost a wonderful drummer and pioneer this week. Viola Smith was a force of nature who forged a path for herself in the early days of drumming and continued playing for over 90 years. Absolute legend. Rest In Peace Viola.

No big deal. Just that one time guitar legend @joebonamassa stopped by @skipsmusic to talk shop before a show at @memorialauditorium a few years ago. Two of our guitar guys (who have since become managers) @erictheguitarguy and @hamlinkurt and @skipmaggiora himself were there to welcome him. That was a pretty cool day.
