Communities In Schools of Los Angeles along with our friends at Vevo are hosting a Career Conversation about what it's like to be a black professional in the media industry. Panelists will answer questions about what drives them, dealing with adversity and even give you advice on how you can succeed in the media industry.... We hope that you can join us, and invite a friend. We promise that you will learn something and have fun. We have a variety of experts including business owners, breast cancer surgeons, writers in film and media, restaurateurs and kitchen experts and several other unique and great experts. We will be doing a weekly spotlight on our speakers as well. The series will take place every Tuesday starting February 2nd during L Period 11:10-11:40, we would love if homeroom teachers ...brought their classes and we will provide a google document students can fill out during the event that teachers may choose to accept as extra credit.
