We must somehow figure out how to be unified in our faith despite the cultural and political differences that try to tear us apart. This will only happen if we let the Savior be our guide. He understands our weakness perfectly and can make weak things strong. He understands our pains perfectly and can help us heal. He understands our differences perfectly and still promises that we can rejoice together. Read more here: https://bit.ly/2FyV04n

I find that as I draw closer to Him, I have an ever-increasing desire to be like Him. And the more I am trying to become like Him, I think it is easier for Him to communicate with me. Elder Dale G. Renlund Watch as Elder Renlund describes how daily acts of devotion helped him to hear the Savior’s voice. Visit HearHim.org to learn more. #HearHim.

I bless you to be filled with the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ. His peace is beyond all mortal understanding. I bless you with an increased desire and ability to obey the laws of God. I promise that as you do, you will be showered with blessings, including greater courage, increased personal revelation, sweeter harmony in your homes, and joy, even amid uncertainty. God helps us in our challenges and answers our prayers. #GeneralConference When you wonder how much pain you can endure well, remember Him. He suffered what you suffer so that He would know how to lift you up. He may not remove the burden, but He will give you strength, comfort, and hope. He knows the way. He drank the bitter cup. He endured the suffering of all. President Henry B. Eyring While we work and wait together for the answers to some of our prayers, I offer you ...my apostolic promise that they are heard and they are answered, though perhaps not at the time or in the way we wanted. But they are always answered at the time and in the way an omniscient and eternally compassionate parent should answer them. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland The Lord is aware of the challenges you face. He knows you, He loves you, and I promise He will send angels to help you. Elder Carlos A. Godoy Artwork by Richard Lance Russell

Christianity is comforting, but it is often not comfortable. The path to holiness and happiness here and hereafter is a long and sometimes rocky one. It takes time and tenacity to walk it. But, of course, the reward for doing so is monumental. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland #GeneralConference

To be Christlike, a person loves mercy. People who love mercy are not judgmental; they manifest compassion for others, especially for those who are less fortunate; they are gracious, kind, and honorable. These individuals treat everyone with love and understanding, regardless of characteristics such as race, gender, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and tribal, clan, or national differences. These are superseded by Christlike love. Elder Dale G. Renlund #GeneralConference Painting by Carl Heinrich Bloch, Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda, Brigham Young University Museum of Art.

I believe that one day each of you will look back at the canceled events, the sadness, disappointments, and loneliness attendant to the challenging times we are passing through to see it overshadowed by choice blessings and increased faith and testimonies. Each of us has a divine potential because each is a child of God. Each is equal in His eyes. The implications of this truth are profound. Brothers and sisters, please listen carefully to what I am about to say. God does not love one race more than another. His doctrine on this matter is clear. He invites all to come unto Him, ‘black and white, bond and free, male and female’ (2 Nephi 26:33). President Russell M. Nelson #GeneralConference Artwork by Michael Malm

Like a guiding star in a clear dark sky, Jesus Christ lights our way. He came to earth in a humble stable. He lived a perfect life. He healed the sick and raised the dead. He was a friend to the forgotten. He taught us to do good, to obey, and to love one another. He was crucified on a cross, rising majestically three days later, allowing us and those we love to live beyond the grave. With His incomparable mercy and grace, He took upon Himself our sins and our suffering, bringing forgiveness as we repent and peace in the storms of life. We love Him. We worship Him. We follow Him. He is the anchor of our souls. Elder Neil L. Andersen #GeneralConference Artwork by Yongsung Kim Havenlight.com

Fighting against temptation takes a lifetime of diligence and faithfulness. But please know that the Lord is ready to assist us in our personal efforts and promises remarkable blessings if we endure to the end. Elder Ulisses Soares #GeneralConference
