Editing a book is much harder than writing it. I could not believe how many times I went over the exact same page and still found errors that I didn’t catch the time before. Throwback to testing out Hip Hooks in the living room. In this particular picture you have us seeing if we could break the hooks. So much fun! We tested pressing on the handle to see if we could break it with multiple cycles of pressing it down. Then we tried holding it down for a long time with a ton of pressure to see if we can break it that way. We also tested different tapes that hold the handle to the base to see if we could rip it apart. ... After many different types of tapes and different types of materials we finally arrived at the final assembly and materials. In some ways, I felt like I was doing an elementary school science fair project, collecting all the data, sprawled out in the living room floor.
