Soooo... Minecraft. I finally caved and let my kids play Minecraft (with a ton of parental settings) and I have to admit I regret it. Lol We now have books about Minecraft, one-sided conversations about Minecraft, and Momma, if you had to choose 5 mobs (?) what would they be??!! That being said, my daughter announced that grass does NOT look like that when she saw this cake I made for my friend’s daughter. how does one make a pretty Minecraft cake?! Luckily, my friend is a pro at using her cricut so she planned to whip up an awesome custom topper for the cake and her daughter LOVED the cake (despite me taking artistic licensing with the grass). So all in all, happy friend, happy friend’s daughter and not impressed daughter-which-I-love - I count this as a win! Lol

This was a fun, loaded drip cake to celebrate a 40th birthday. The wife requested a fondant cigar and almond joy candies to represent some of her husbands favorite things and she provided the yummy bourbon and whiskey shot bottles.

Sometimes the path to the chosen design isn’t quite as clear. We went through SIX sketches of wedding cakes and two taste tastings before the bride found the perfect fit. It doesn’t get more custom and attentive than that, folks. Proud mama cake moment when it all came together in the end.
