We're mid-way through our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and we hope that you will be able to help out. Our goal is to provide 150 bags of Thanksgiving fixings for families in need. We will once again work with our partners at St. Mark's, City Heights, St. Alban's, El Cajon, Loaves and Fishes, OB, and Uptown Faith. Beginning this Tuesday at noon, we will be joining with the Coronado Council of Churches and secular leaders in San Diego County to assemble in small groups, socially distanced, in front of the Coronado Library to Pray for Justice and Peace. These gatherings will take place each Tuesday afternoon through election day and possibly beyond. Deacon Tom Morelli will lead the group in front of the library, with other groups also gathering in front of City Hall and the Community Center. For those who are unable to attend in person, please raise your thoughts and prayers at noon in solidarity for racial justice, peace, non-violence in our nation and integrity for the upcoming election. #prayforjusticeandpeace
