We are excited to announce the return of the virtual Mock Pitch Program on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Our December program will be a mock business pitch intended to give law firm associates and junior partners the opportunity to practice presenting, virtually, to a group of in-house counsel who will serve as mock clients. The exercise is designed to improve participants’ skills and receive feedback from leading experts in IP and law. Each Mock Team includes four attorneys wh...o develop and present the pitch, and one mentor, typically a Partner, who mentors the attorneys throughout the process. Firms that participated earlier this year on June 24, 2020, are welcome to participate, but we ask that you send attorneys who have not previously participated. The registration fee for a single Mock Team (4 attorneys and 1 mock mentor) is $2,000. We do have a capacity limitation of 30 total teams so we encourage firms to sign-up as soon as possible. Team sign-ups will close on November 9. Once all teams have confirmed participation, team member and mock mentor registration will open mid-November.
