Doing this in the Bay Area alone is not enough. As a Council focused on cultural issues, we should initiate more work around this particular issue. A few organizations have been trying to raise awareness and to make changes on the community level. Some have created webinars to address the clinical piece. Why not bring clinicians together nationally to learn from each other and to adapt effective and appropriate practices?
