Jumping into the weekend like....

Geranium preschoolers have been OBSESSED with making their own cardboard creations! They started with tape and then teachers introduced a way for them to build UP using hot glue. Children had to be patient and hold their items at an angle for 20 seconds while teachers used the glue gun, but they were thrilled with their slanted roofs and sharp angles.

Geranium preschoolers enjoying the meadow on campus. Children noticed (but didn’t touch) some very large mushrooms and collected seed pods that looked like caterpillars, as well as twigs and leaves in many different sizes and shapes. Teacher A brought along plastic animals and some children engaged in imaginative play. A few children turned the big wheel sculpture, too. Everyone heard the chimes from the bell tower, which were not too loud because they were some distance away, and the children got to experience them from the other side of campus.
