Introducing Chelsea McPherson in this week's #TherapistFeature ! Chelsea decided to become a therapist because she "always wanted to find a way to be there for kiddos that might be feeling the way I did as a child." As a therapist at The Children's Center of the Antelope Valley, she says the best part of her job is "meeting so many new people who are passionate about each child’s mental health and well-being."... Her advice: "Remember that everything is temporary; the good times and the bad times, nothing lasts forever. Sometimes we just have to be thankful for the good times when they are here, and push through the bad times with the hope that something better will come." In her free time, Chelsea loves to play with her dog and be around animals!

Often times when we talk about Domestic Violence Awareness, we focus on the impacts on women. It is important, however, to recognize that domestic violence can happen to anyone. Did you know? 1 in 10 men in LA County are impacted by intimate personal violence. #EnoughisEnough #DomesticViolenceAwareness #DVAwareness
