CONGRATULATIONS to Natasha! She is back at UCI pursuing her master’s degree in Criminology, Law and Society maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Natasha was about to be terminated from the program due to lack of funds as a result of Covid-19 job lay-offs. Natasha is a very bright half Iranian, half East European single mother. She completed her high school at Sage Hill where she received a full scholarship. She continued her undergrad education at the American University in Washington,... DC in the School of Public Affairs majoring in Justice and Spanish Language. Natasha worked in DC as a probation officer for juveniles for seven years and plans to return to law enforcement again upon the completion of her master’s degree. CHILD International covered her tuition balance of $5000 through #Noushinscholarshipfund as well as #khotanzadscholarshipfund so that she can complete her term. Share your love on Valentine’s Day with this needy family Please help us purchase a car for a 27 year old Afghan mother of two young children, ages 9 and 5. She was HOMELESS due to a failed marriage, when she came to us for help. Now only after 11 months, she lives in a nice low-income apartment. She has also been employed at a local business and continues her studies toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering. Unfortunately, her old car recently broke down on the freeway and is no longer functional. She desperately needs a vehicle to be able to go to work and provide for her children. In 2020 at CHILD International, with your donations, 300 families received meals and food vouchers. 150 families received clothing & shoes 38 families’ homes were furnished. 17 students received laptops, computers & or iPads.... 22 students received scholarships for books, tuition and living expenses. 165 families received monthly financial and/or emergency assistance.
