HONEY WAS ADOPTED We are so overjoyed by this adoption! Check out this beautiful picture of Honey with her furever mama! Honey was adopted by one of our favorite families who are the absolute sweetest people we’ve met. They are big supporters of CRSDC (they have already adopted twice from us) and their fur babies are so very loved! Honey is already quickly bonding with her new furever family. R.I.P sweet little Mookie Mookie was a part of our Silver Linings Program. She was 13 yrs old, toothless, and absolutely adorable! She was with the Roebuck family for 3 years and was in her mama, Sharon’s daughter’s arms when she took her last breath. Sharon said She was very much loved and is being missed. She will always be in our hearts. . Thank you for loving this little senior girl and giving her the best last three years! ... Run free, little one

Happy Halloween from CRSDC alumnae Daisy and Jasmine! Their furever mama, Lucy loves to dress them up in the cutest outfits and dresses up many of our dogs in the rescue to look great in their furever homes! Show us your dogs’ Halloween costumes or clothes! We would love to see them!

NEELO WAS ADOPTED Neelo (now Milo, the white chihuahua) fit right into his new pack so well that his foster family couldn’t let him go! They just fell in love with his little sweet personality! ADOPT HAMSTER (AKA GIGI) Meet Miss Little Hamster AKA Gigi. She is 3 months old. Weighing in at 3.6 pounds, she is tiny in size but big on confidence. She is living in a foster home with two Labradors and she thinks she is big too. Gigi is quickly learning to settle in our laps, sleep in the crate at night, and potty training is going well. ... Gigi likes taking rides around the block in a pet stroller. She is also quite confident going for rides in the car and meeting new people. Gigi definitely needs some positive reinforcement to help her through all of the normal puppy behaviors. She is teething and has some nipping behavior. She needs a home that is ready for a feisty puppy. She will need her people to create a safe and loving environment so she can continue to grow and thrive. PLEASE SHARE EXPERIENCED FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR TRICKSY Sweet Tricky is still available for adoption. She needs an experienced foster home in San Diego, CA or a experienced adopter.... Meet Tricksy! Estimated to have been born 8/19/12, and weighing in at 11 lbs. Tricksy is as sweet as pumpkin pie and has a cute smile to match. Tricksy would do best as the only dog in the household because she prefers to be the alpha dog. Tricksy likes to play with toys, and enjoys going for walks, the longer the better for her. She does need help with her leash reactivity as she gets excited when she sees other dogs and people but will improve with positive reinforcement. She is smart and pretty good with commands: 'come, wait, let’s go' and her favorite word, 'treat'. She has good potty manners when she has walks and access to the outside. Tricksy is healthy, up to date on all her vaccines and recently had a dental. R.I.P to little Peggy Sue. This sweet senior gal was blind and limped with her three little legs and was left at the shelter. Imagine how confusing that would have been for this little 5lb girl. Our rescue picked her from the shelter and she was in foster care for about 3 months receiving lots of TLC even participating in Chihuahua Beauty Contest as a fairy princess! Her moms saw her, fell in love at first sight and took a chance on a senior gal despite her special needs.... Peggy Sue loved cuddling, being carried on walks, eating puppachinos and being with her fur sister, Trixie. Her moms said she could drag a burrito half her size away. She was such a feisty girl right until the end. Peggy Sue was SO loved in the last 15 months of her life with her furever family. We could not be more grateful for her furever family giving her all the love and attention she deserved. You will be so missed, Peggy Sue! Run free, little one

ADOPT TEDDY Teddy is about 8 years old and weighs about 5lbs. You may think Ted is a funny name for a dog, but after getting to know him, we understand...it MUST be short for "Teddy Bear"! This little guy is definitely as sweet and cuddly as one! Teddy is a fun-loving young dog who wants nothing more than to make you happy. He's housebroken, walks very politely on a leash, and while he's a bit uncertain in new situations, he adapts to the routine very quickly, always ...checking in as if to say, "Am I doing it right?" Teddy would do well as an only dog or he'd be happy with another playful but respectful dog in the house. He does like to make sure that his foster moms know everything that's going on, so another laid back dog might help him learn that not everything requires an announcement. If you want a small dog who will be your shadow, make you laugh, and wants to burrow under the covers and lay next to you all night, look no further! ADOPT BELLA My name is Bella, I am a spry 14 year old female, weighing a whopping 2.5 pounds! My mommy says I am a love bug, but I do have some quirks. I was traumatized in my past and do not like men, they scare me. I do best in a quiet household with a mommy (or two) and other animal siblings are just fine, I love them (it's only men I don't like.....!) ... I have perfect potty manners (go on a pee pad) and love to burrow in my fluffy blanket in my bed, right next to my mommy's big bed. I have a snaggle tooth but pretty sure many of my teeth will be pulled at my upcoming dental, so I come in just perfect condition for a senior lady!! I am spayed, love my breakfast and dinner and yes, I accept snacks at any time. I promise you will love me and I will sit by your side or in your lap all day long, just chilling!
