Simple acts of kindness... I just have to recount this story because it’s so important for us to take care of each other especially in times like these... My eleven year old sons best friend lost his Grandma to covid. Tyge immediately went to work on figuring out a plan to cheer him up. He started with a hand written sympathy card, ordered him a white cake with mousse filling from his favorite baker @sc2187, whipped up some homemade lasagne, picked some fresh flowers in t...he garden and made a nice bouquet and off we went on an hours drive to deliver. Ran out of gas (haven’t done that since high school), had to traipse through the mud, hopped a barbed wire fence to the gas station. The police ended up helping us and we made it to our destination. What a pleasure it was for him to see their faces and the joy that he brought to them. Taking care and serving others is the most rewarding experience of all! Antique of the week is this adorable antique drop leaf table made of oak with casters (and you know how much we LOVE anything with casters!) I have enjoyed it in my kitchen nook for years. It is super versatile as both sides flip down and it can be used as a side board as well. 36w x38l and 28 high. What is your favorite antique piece in your home? @ Sonoma, California

Did you know Sonoma has a Sister city in France? Chambolle Musigny is the name of the town not far from this gorgeous @chateaudevarennes I think this will be a perfect area to visit for our next trip to France! Have you been to the Burgundy region and what are your favorites in the area!?
