As an immigration attorney of 17 years, representing undocumented persons in court in Los Angeles and beyond, I can say that overcrowded courts have been a long overdue issue. The laws need to be updated, the court system needs to be updated and streamlined, but Trump's idea that the immigration courts should just be eliminated, is unacceptable.
